The HMGH-II-E series harmonic reducer features a compact machine structure with an input shaft connected to the inner hole of the wave generator through an integral cam. It offers the flexibility of both rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40, this series is ideal for applications in aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment.

 

Principle of Harmonic Gear Transmission

 

The harmonic gear drive, invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, utilizes the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. By breaking away from traditional rigid component transmission, it achieves unique functions difficult to attain with other drives. The symmetrical harmonic deformation process of the flexible component gives this transmission its name.

 

Harmonic Deceleration Principle
